Candidates selected for a scholarship receive an invitation from STIFTUNG DERMATOLOGIKUM HAMBURG. Once the visa and temporary residence permit have been granted, the foundation sees to all the logistic and financial aspects of the scholarship. It also pays the recipients’ travelling expenses, their living expenses during the three months of their stay in Hamburg and the cost of a language course.

During their stay in Hamburg the scholarship holders gain an insight into clinical dermatology, dermatological histopathology, dermatological surgery, allergolon, photobiology and dermatological microbiolon.

At the end of their stay the scholarship holders must submit a report to STIFTUNG DERMATOLOGIKUM HAMBURG summarizing the specialist knowledge they have acquired.

In return, the foundation issues a detailed testimonial with evidence of the work carried out during their three-month stay in Hamburg.
